Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying

Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 has become increasingly important for a manager in order to assist an employer in complying with their legal duties and mitigate risk of liability, particularly in relation to the new harassment duty. This module will:

  • Examine the different forms of discrimination under the Equality Act 2010.
  • The role managers have to play in preventing harassment in the workplace, including guidance on the new duty to prevent sexual harassment.
  • Bullying in the workplace and how to deal with this with confidence.
