Free Update: The Employment Rights Bill

On 10 October 2024, the Labour Government published their Employment Rights Bill.  The Bill is in the final stage of the parliamentary approval process and the final wording of the Bill is taking shape. The reforms in the Bill promise to radically shift the obligations on employers and the rights of employees.

Whilst the Government has published its Roadmap for the implementation of provisions in the Bill, we would encourage employers to prepare for the impending changes in the law now in time for the gradual implementation of such laws from Autumn 2025 onwards.
