From 26 October 2024, the law concerning sexual harassment in the workplace is changing substantially and employers need to be aware of how to manage these changes.
The introduction of the mandatory duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment of their employees creates a stronger obligation than ever before with employers facing potential uplifts on sexual harassment compensation of up to 25% if they are found to have breached this new duty.
