Free Webinar: What does a general election mean for Employment Law?

A general election will take place on 4 July 2024 and with this comes a fresh wave of promises and policy commitments with all political parties setting out how they would plan to govern the UK.

Unsurprisingly, changes to employment laws are firmly on the agenda in this election with the Conversative Party having made a number of reforms while in government and the Labour Party having made various suggestions for reform while in opposition.

Employers will need to be aware of what the implications could be if the Conservative Party were to retain power, if the Labour Party were to win this election outright and if either party is reliant on other parties in order to govern.

Collingwood Legal therefore invite you to a FREE webinar looking at what the political parties have promised and what the outcome of the general election will mean for employers.

The session will discuss:

  • What a Conservative or Labour government may look to do in terms of employment law reforms
  • The employment policies of other political parties in this general election
  • The timescales for the implementation of any policy commitments.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions of our specialists.

The session will be delivered by expert employment and equality lawyers from Collingwood Legal – an award winning employment law firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne, recognised as a Top Tier employment law firm by the UK Legal 500.
