Managing Employees in a COVID World

All employers have had to adapt to change as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Employers have been at the forefront of this change, navigating the challenges head-on and often with little information and guidance.

We recognise that the change brought by the pandemic continues to raise questions and challenges for employers.

Collingwood Legal therefore invite you to our virtual session which aims to equip employers with information, know-how and confidence in dealing with the change and challenges of COVID.

We will cover a number of key topics including:

  • An update on the CJRS;
  • Employees who refuse to attend work;
  • Dealing with sickness/isolation/clinically extremely vulnerable employees;
  • Home working arrangements;
  • Annual leave; and
  • Health and Safety issues and protected disclosures.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions of our employment lawyers before and during the session.

We anticipate this session will be in demand so to secure a place on Thursday 4th February 2021 from 10am – 12 noon, please register through Eventbrite here.

The standard cost of the event is £75 plus VAT, but should you book before 5pm on 29th January 2021 an Early Bird discount will be applied meaning you only pay £50 plus VAT.

The session will be delivered by expert employment lawyers from Collingwood Legal – an award winning employment law firm, recognised as a Top Tier employment law firm by the UK Legal 500, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This event will be relevant to HR professionals, owner managers, team leaders and any employees who have supervisory responsibilities for dealing with employees.
