Megan joined Collingwood Legal as a Solicitor in September 2026 after completing her training contract at a full-service law firm.

A graduate of Newcastle University where she achieved a First Class Law Degree, she subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University, achieving a distinction. Megan’s academic achievements reflect her commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Megan has experience of working with a range of clients across a broad range of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, helping clients navigate the complexities of employment legislation and workplace issues.

Experience

• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with current employment law and forthcoming legislative developments, including the Employment Rights Act 2025;
• Assisting clients with day-to-day workplace matters such as discrimination concerns and sickness absence;
• Assisting with Employment Tribunal Claims, including the preparation of documentation, consideration of liability and potential settlement.
• Acting as an initial point of contact for prospective clients, facilitating their transition from enquiry to instruction.
