Senior Associate Solicitor

Tom joined Collingwood Legal as a Senior Associate in June 2026, bringing with him over a decade of experience at a full-service firm, where he trained and qualified as a solicitor in 2018.

Tom advises employer clients across a full range of HR and employment law matters, with particular experience representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims, advising on and litigating post-termination restrictions and acting for senior executives on complex matters and managed departures. Tom is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 2026.

Experience

Examples of Tom’s experience include:

• Representing clients in all manner of employment tribunal claims, from early conciliation through to complex, multi-day hearings, including claims of dismissal, discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
• Providing comprehensive advice to employers across a comprehensive spectrum of industries and sectors on a range of employment law and HR matters, including in relation to complex disciplinaries and grievances, organisation restructuring and key employment documentation.
• Drafting and advising on the enforcement of post-termination restrictions.
• Advising directors and executives in relation to complex employment matters.
• Providing training to managers on subjects such as equal opportunities, conducting disciplinaries and mental health.
