Nathan joined Collingwood Legal in 2022.  Nathan completed his law degree at Newcastle University securing First Class Honours before undertaking a Post-graduate Diploma in Law at Northumbria University.  He completed his training contract at a northern commercial law firm.  Nathan provides employment law support to clients in both contentious and strategic matters.

Experience 

  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, staff handbooks, policies and procedures to ensure they comply with legislation and afford protection to the client’s commercial interests.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal cases, including the preparation of Tribunal bundles, drafting witness statements and settlement agreements.
  • Providing advice on day-to-day employer-employee management issues.
  • Conducting research into niche and novel issues in employment law.

Outside of work

Nathan is an avid football fan and enjoys visiting the numerous beauty spots across the North-East.
